Touchless dimmer sensor. Without cover. FreeTouch
The modern FreeTouch® sensors from ROHDE+ROHDE allow you to control the brightness of the light ("dimming") without any physical contact. Simply hold your hand a few centimeters in front of the touchless dimmer. Through various materials (excluding metal), the sensor will detect your hand.
Adjustable Mode 1:
- Maximum 300W for conventional dimmable light sources (halogen, incandescent bulbs, etc.).
- Maximum 120W for dimmable LED and dimmable energy-saving lamps.
- Minimum 0W.
- Requires neutral wire (3-wire connection).
Adjustable Mode 2:
- Maximum 300W.
- Minimum 40W.
- Only for conventional dimmable light sources (halogen, incandescent bulbs, etc.).
- No neutral wire required.
Can be mounted into an existing standard EU round wall box of 68 mm, either using expansion clips or screws.
Two-way switch / Three-way switch:
Do you want to control a lamp from 2 or 3 locations? Then we're talking about a two-way switch (2 control points) or a three-way switch (3 control points). Procedure: Install 1 FreeTouch® dimmer as the "Master," product number FT-D-230. You can connect 1, 2, or as many FreeTouch® two-way/three-way switches as "Slaves" to the Master (product number FT-X-230). Each control point behaves like the "Master" (dimmer).
Important: It's not possible to connect a FreeTouch® sensor with another brand, such as a conventional rocker switch.
