Design your faceplate or frame exactly to your specifications. This bespoke option allows for tailored solutions beyond our standard product range.
How it works
- Choose whether the layout is vertical or horizontal, as well as the required size of your cover based on the number of wall boxes to be covered.
- Select white, black, or your preferred colour system. If you require a custom colour, please enter the specific colour code in the comments field.
- Please describe your required cut-outs in the comments field as precisely as possible. Details for each additional wall box should be separated using a “+”. The order of your entries corresponds to the arrangement from left to right or from top to bottom.
Example for a cover for 1 wall box
To install 1 USB charging port (half-width) and 1 toggle switch side by side
Entry: “Narrow rectangular cut-out + 1 CAMBRIDGE toggle switch drill hole”
Example for a cover for 2 wall boxes
To install 1 USB charging port (half-width) on the left and 1 touch switch on the right
Entry: “Narrow rectangular cut-out + 1 NOVA light point”
Example for a cover for 3 wall boxes
To install 1 round socket on the left, 1 thermostat in the centre, and two toggle switches side by side on the right
Entry: “Round cut-out + Rectangular cut-out + 2 CAMBRIDGE toggle switch drill holes”
Available cut-out options
- Round socket cut-out (Ø 50 mm)
- Rectangular cut-out (45 × 45 mm, for 2 modules, e.g. socket insert)
- Narrow rectangular cut-out (22 × 45 mm, for 1 module, e.g. RJ45 data port)
- CAMBRIDGE drill hole (for CAMBRIDGE retro toggle switches)
- YORK drill hole (for YORK toggle switches)
- NOVA light point (for NOVA touch sensors)
Important notes
- Cut-outs in frames are only possible for integrating AVE system inserts. Third-party products such as GIRA, Merten or Busch-Jaeger are not supported.
- All designs are subject to a technical feasibility check by ROHDE+ROHDE.
- Custom designs are not available for frames with full-surface, removable magnetic covers such as MAXIM or PURIST.
- Changes to external dimensions or predefined cut-out sizes are not possible.
- Bespoke items are made to order and are excluded from cancellation and return rights.
